The Watercolor Experience with

I have been enjoying watercolor since college and am still amazed at how much joy I get out of creating a piece. When I am painting, my focus zooms in and carries me away! I love the many techniques that are used to create a particular look in watercolor. I love the transparency and the "happy accidents" that happen to make a watercolor piece so mesmerizing. Whether you are already familiar with the medium or have never done watercolor before, join us to begin or continue your own watercolor experience!
Mission
I love to paint! Since I have been teaching, the newest love is hearing all of the surprise and
excitement of the people as they watch the pigment go into the water around the table at a live demonstration.
Walking with people through this creative process gives me great satisfaction as we learn, overcome the fear involved in "what if I do it wrong?" and seeing the joy of discovery as people enter into the creative process.
This experience is what I love to create for people!
Vision
Beauty is that which creates an
"intellectual pleasure" according to St. Thomas Aquinas and human beings are hard wired to enjoy creating. So by combining these two elements, and creating something beautiful, we are actually doing very good and profound things for ourselves!
I absolutely love bringing this opportunity to create beauty and the joy that comes with it! Making the world a better place one Watercolor Experience at a time.
